JHS CC Inaugural Summer Internship Program

Celebrating Our First Summer Interns

This summer, the JHS Coordinating Center successfully hosted its inaugural eight-week internship program. Two interns worked with Coordinating Center faculty and staff gaining hands on experience learning R programming, data wrangling, and website development, and received valuable exposure to collaborative research. We are proud of their accomplishments during this exciting first internship cohort.

New Website Search Feature Now Available

Find information across the Jackson Heart Study website quickly and easily

The Jackson Heart Study is pleased to announce a new website search feature that makes finding information faster and easier. Located at the top of the website, the search tool helps users quickly locate publicly available content, including news, research, educational resources, publications, events, and more. Content behind secure login areas is not included in search results.

For example, searching for "Heart Disease" will return related pages and resources from across the website, helping users discover relevant information with ease. We encourage all visitors to try the new search feature and explore everything the Jackson Heart Study website has to offer.
